What Is synthetic track FLOORING System?
Modern running track flooring needs to conform to the high standards of modern athletes. The running surface needs to retain optimal grip and performance even under different weather conditions. Our Synthetic Track comes in 3 variants to meet the different needs of our clients. At ExcelSports, our products are all WA (formerly known as IAAF) certified and of the best quality. This makes us one of the most preferred running track contractors in Malaysia.
OUR TRACK Surface system
We use CONIPUR SW system - A “sandwich” track surfacing system intended for athletics use (outdoor running tracks and multi-purpose sports fields) offered by CONICA.

CONIPUR SW
This is a World Athletics Certified sustainable 14mm thick 2-layer polyurethane running track system consisting of a PU-bonded elastic layer formed on recycled granulates, high quality 3mm PU top layer. A black rubber granulates base of 10mm is paved with a paving machine by using a combination of polyurethane binder and 1-4mm black rubber granules. Upon curing of the black rubber base, a top layer of coloured polyurethane granules of size 1-3.5mm is broadcasted to form a homogenous 3-4mm topping for the track.

key advantages
With multiple protective and performance-driven layers, it provides a shock-absorbent, durable, and seamless surface ideal for multipurpose sports halls, gymnasiums, and recreational spaces. Its non-porous structure ensures hygiene, easy maintenance, and long-lasting performance under heavy use.
All systems are IAAF certified, ensuring compliance with international standards.
Natural EPDM + rubber elements give comfort, reduce fatigue and minimize injury risk.
Designed to stand up to athletic footwear, ensuring durability even in competitive or repeated training environments.
While exact refurbishments depend on system and use, synthetic track systems have predictable wear profiles and allow partial resurfacing without full replacement.
running track Preventive Maintenance

Monitor for "peeling" or loosened segments, especially in prefabricated systems.
02
Use Appropriate Footwear
Spikes and cleats should comply with track standards.
03
Scheduled Resurfacing
Depending on traffic and variant, top layers may need refurbishment to restore optimal grip and finish.
